Songwriter Nince Henry stated
his disapproval of musicians who treat Eddy Kenzo like a "small god"
in the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) WhatsApp group.
During his visit to the Galaxy
FM radio station, Nince Henry expressed his opinions about the UNMF squad lead
by Eddy Kenzo.
The musician known for
"Cinderella" publicly acknowledged that he was a UMA member, but he
also stated that he had supported the federation's formation from the beginning
and believed it would provide constructive ideas that would advance the
business.
The concept of the federation
is ideal. I firmly believed that the move was right from the start and told
them so, even if I didn't deserve to be physically with them.
Over time, I noticed that some people began to
idolize those in positions of authority, and I find it very offensive as I have
never worshipped anyone in my life. I fully endorse the federation's concept
and will side with them if their cause is just.
Despite his assertion that the African tendency of idolizing leaders has caused many of them to be held back, Henry emphasizes how much he loves being in a scenario where everything makes sense.
He used church pastors' claims
that some members of the congregation even go so far as to kiss their leaders'
feet as an example, something he detests in his own life.
