There have been reports that Ugandan opposition leader Bobi Wine's head of security, Eddy Mutwe, was arrested by security forces allegedly linked to General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the son of President Yoweri Museveni.
If true, this would be part of a broader pattern of arrests and intimidation targeting opposition figures and their associates in Uganda. Bobi Wine (real name Robert Kyagulanyi) and his National Unity Platform (NUP) have frequently accused the government of harassment, illegal detentions, and human rights abuses.

The alleged posting of Mutwe's "funny-looking" picture on Muhoozi's X (formerly Twitter) account—if confirmed—could be seen as an attempt to humiliate or demean the detained individual, a tactic sometimes used to undermine perceived opponents.
