Remote Karma, born Oyuka God Desire, is a Ugandan musician whose career began in 2004 as a solo artist driven by an enduring passion for music. Originating from Masaka- Kalisizo Town council but was born in Tororo District, a Japhdola by tribe, he entered the industry by recording his debut track in a local studio, marking the inception of his artistic journey. Initially cultivating his craft within the independent music scene, he dedicated years to honing his skills before releasing early works such as "Eno Ensi" (featuring Peace) in 2011, followed by "Netonze" (produced by Mimo), "Akayimba Kaani," and "Miss Your Smile" (featuring Peace and Davi).
A pivotal shift occurred in 2013 when Remote Karma partnered with producer and collaborator Deta, forming a dynamic duo. By early 2016, both artists opted to pursue solo endeavors while maintaining their collaborative partnership, subsequently releasing two acclaimed singles.
As a soloist, Remote Karma continued to expand his discography with tracks like "Ntongo," "Some More," "Tukuba Biliyo All Stars," "Kannyo & Kabaka Wange," "Romeo and Juliet," "Ngamba," "Byankola (Full Mood)," "Kankuwe," and "Sugar," solidifying his reputation as a versatile artist.
