Laygacy

Yiga Peter Alexander known by his stage name Laygacy is a Ugandan recording, performing artist, and songwriter born on 25th, August.

He sings in Luganda, English, and sometimes mixes with Jamaican Patois. His music genre specialty is Afrobeats, Dancehall, Afropop, and RnB. His epic musical journey started back in 2018 with songs like 'Dream chaser', 'and bosslady'.

Laygacy made his breakthrough in 2020 with a hit song entitled 'My Town' that hit up all media waves and night clubs. Many local TV Stations started inviting him for several interviews including the giants; Ntv The Beat, Nbs After5 among others.
Since then Laygacy has never stepped down. He continues to release good and hit songs. As of now Laygacy is among the Ugandan Artists growing at a rampant speed.

Laygacy attended his primary school at New African Child P/S in najjanankubi. He later joined St. Peter's S.S.S Nsambya in 2013 and this is where he completed his O'level (2016) and A'level (2018) Education. Laygacy was raised by a single mother in makindye a surbub of Kampala, the capital city where he grew up with his siblings.

During his first year In high School after having been exposed to various genres of music both locally and internationally.
